Export — what to consider

For higher-value cars or if you plan to export outside Germany, keep in mind:

• VIN history check. Run the VIN to verify owners, recorded mileage, accident entries and service events.
• Duties & taxes. If exporting (e.g., to Ukraine or other non-EU countries), estimate customs, excise and VAT in advance. Use the official calculator to avoid surprises.
• Paperwork. Invoice/contract, export declaration (ATLAS/IAA-Plus), proof of export (AGV), transit plates and insurance. We advise and help verify all documents and VAT status.
• “Export only”. Some adverts are marked “export only” (not for German registration). Price can be lower; we’ll guide you through the nuances.
